CMSA President Tony Wooster presented KidSport Executive Director Mark Kosak with a cheque for $17,500! on July 26. Kidsport and CMSA helped fund 893 kids to play soccer in 2011. To apply, follow link to application below.

According to Kidsport Calgary's 2011 Summary Report,in terms of kids supported, soccer is the largest sport program funded through KidSport™ Calgary each year, representing approximately one-third of annual funding distribution. The Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) works with KidSport™ Calgary to help raise integral funds to support low-income kids in soccer programs by administrating a universal KidSport™ fee to all registering CMSA participants. As a result, a whopping 893 kids received funds to play soccer in 2011 partly offset by the $40,000+ raised by CMSA and the Calgary United Soccer Association.
