Celtic 98's attended the GIST Tournament on July 5-8th. After arriving a day early to adjust to allow the athletes to adjust to the time change, the squad had a Friday morning practice at the Hornets Nest complex followed by an exhibition game on Friday night with a 3-1 win against the U15 Glouseter Impact. The tournament consisted of 5 games. The first game started on Saturday morning vs. Horents Attack 97 with a Celtic 98’s 6-0 win. Game 2 was vs OSU Power 98 with a Celtic 98’s win of 4-0. Game 3 concluded with another Celtic 98’s win of 3-0 vs. Ottawa International 97. Game 4 was a Semi Final game resulting in a Celtic 98’s win 4-0 vs Ottawa International L3. Our final game ended with a 2-0 win vs. Ottawa International 97.
