Family Day Classic Tournament

Held from February 13 - 16, the always-anticipated Family Day Classic is one of CMSA’s premier indoor tournaments, welcoming teams aged 10-18. 2025's competition saw up to 276 teams, 50+ out-of-town teams, and over 3500 players facing off for their top spot. Calgary is a great city to visit in the winter with fantastic boardless Indoor facilities.

 

CMSA’s Family Day Classic is all about bringing together teams and families for a memorable weekend of soccer.  We look forward to welcoming teams from all around the city to come join us for an action-packed competitive weekend!

Tournament Information

  • Divisions: U10 - U11 Tiers A, B, C, D / U12, U13, U15, U17 Tiers I, II, III, IV / U19 Tiers II, II
  • Format: 7V7 Boardless - 2 x 25 MIN halves - 2 MIN halftime
    • Guaranteed 3 games
  • Team Entry Fee: $700

  • Shouldice Athletic Park: 1515 Home Rd NW, Calgary, AB T3B 0V8
    • Shouldice DOES NOT have access to change rooms, please ensure teams arrive in competition gear.

  • Please DO NOT arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your game time.
  • All fields are turf and outdoor cleats can be worn.
  • Respect all facilities and facility staff and clean up after your teams.

Tournament Refund Policy

Cancellations made PRIOR to the tournament registration deadline will receive 100% of the entry fees back.

Cancellations received AFTER the tournament registration deadline will be refunded their fees, minus a $100 administrative fee, IF a team is found to replace the canceling team. If a team is NOT found to replace the cancelling team, 100% of the funds will be kept by CMSA and no refund will be given.


Additional fines, of up to $2500, may be applied to any team whose cancellation past the registration deadline causes a tournament grouping to be cancelled.


All decisions with regards to the administrative fees will be the responsibility of the Competitions Coordinator in conjunction with the Tournaments Committee and notice of all administrative fees will be sent out to the Club that the team was representing.
