NAIG Team Alberta Soccer Tryouts
Registration is now open to compete in the 2023 North American Indigenous Games
The North American Indigenous Games will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia in July 2023. This international, multi sport event celebrates youth, volunteerism and Indigenous culture. The 10th North American Indigenous Games will host competitions in 16 sports within 21 venues across Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Dartmouth and Millbrook First Nation.
The North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) 2023 will bring together more than 5,000 athletes, coaches and team staff from 756+ Indigenous Nations celebrating, sharing and reconnecting through sport and culture with the help of 3,000 volunteers. This international, multi-sport event celebrates youth, volunteerism and Indigenous culture.
The Indigenous Sports Council of Alberta is hosting tryouts to form Team Alberta Soccer for NAIG.
Age categories:
- U19 (male and female) 2004 & later.
- U16 (male and female) 2007 & later.
