To referee in Alberta, you must be at least 12 years of age and are required to complete the Mini Referee Course. To register in a Mini Referee Course, you must be 12 years of age on or before May 15, 2025.

Referee courses for 2025 have been completed. The 2026 referee courses will begin in February 2026.
